ENUGU STATE TO HOLD TEC-ECO STAKEHOLDERS MEETING.

With the growth of the Tech Ecosystem in Enugu State, the government have decided to hold a stakeholders meeting. The Special Assistant on Innovations, Science And Technology to the Enugu State governor, Hon. Engr. Elvis Obi-Nwankwo announced that the meeting would hold on the 11th of May, 2021.

He wrote in a release, Having seen reasons with Louis Pasteur who said that “science and technology know no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world,” I have as the Special Assistant on Innovations, Science And Technology, in collaboration with the Hon. Commissioner for Science and Technology Sir. Obi Carl Kama, continued the good works of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyị Lawrence Ugwuanyi, by organizing the first ever Enugu State Tech Eco-system Stakeholders Meeting.

The meeting, he noted, is geared towards pulling forces together in achieving our wholesome aims for a tech-driven State.

Our major aim for this Stakeholders’ meeting is to leverage their social capital to attract innovations to the state, acquiring comprehensive master plan for the state, driving policies that will enable ease of doing business in Enugu State, among many others.

At the end of this program, we hope to pull human resources together to collectively build a tech-driven Enugu State of our dream.

Already, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, had kickstarted the tech-driven vehicle set to not only support good structure but also build policies that will help technology thrive in Enugu by launching a State Tech Hub where young talents will be adequately channeled in line with their gifted talents, suitable to develop Enugu State in particular, and Nigeria by extension.
